Just curious as to what people do once they get the plant outside through the first month when the plants are so small and fragile. I've used a drench to protect the plant from below, but have yet to use anything up top. I'm on the 4th leave and any input would be appreciated. In the past I've waited, but the insect pressure seems very high early on this go around.

Merit. Safari. Tal star. And a lambda. Product.. Also eagle gets used very early on here .., just my input.. I hit them with a low dose inside then hit them with another dose when I plant outside ..

I use garlic powder as a repellent starting the day they go in the ground. I learned that lesson a few years ago when cucumber beetles wrecked a couple plants in the first 24 hours.
