Will a seed that is only half full have the same potential as a full seed? Maybe it might just start out slower because the cot leaves will be smaller?

I think it should have the same genetic potential but will be slower out of the gate.

Agree with Cojoe, just need enough cot to get the first true leaf going. Even one is usually fine.

I personally have never had good luck with a slow to start seedling I have tried a few times and they always seem to end up getting cut off. Plus I normally go with the strongest starters no time to nurse one along. Just my opinion

anythings possible but if i had my druthers id start additional seeds and tend not to use that one. or at least plan on possibly not using it???
