Hey guys!

I have a question about buying GIANT pumpkins in the off-season (if that's even possible). I work for a TV show in Los Angeles, California that uses a LOT of pumpkins. We've always shot during sept-november, harvest season, and had no problem getting pumpkins. But this year we want to shoot in July or August. Do you guys know of anywhere that might have some this time of year?? Even if we have to ship them in from another country, that's fine.

Here's a list of what we need ( I know its a lot)...

4 super duper large (800lbs + pumpkins)
30    Giants (125+ lbs)
40    Large
25    White Large
30    Jack O Lantern
30    Medium
45    Small Sweet Babies

Any info or leads appreciated!

My 5 year old son in san diego and myself are growing very early this year with water restrictions with a small patch. We should have a good fruit (we hope) done growing by middle of July or August. I'm trying to teach my son about giving while growing. We would gladly give you our fruit for a donation to the charity of our choice. Not sure how big it will get, but 800 plus is not out of the question with a little luck. Anyway, email me if interested and we could talk about the details. yacobus73@yahoo.com

Hello Rachel,

Iowa, Indiana and Ohio all have early state fairs (August) with giant pumpkin contests. Indiana also weighs regular field pumpkins. This might help but I don't know if it too far (transport cost).

Thanks
Kelly
