Hello, I have a question concerning my soil warming cable that I just purchased. It's 12 feet long and I have a fairly good idea how to instal it, but no idea how deep in the ground I should put it .
It will be use for just one Atlantic giant pumpkin plant
I'm a little afraid that if I instal it to shallow The pumpkin plant roots might touch it.
Any information on how deep I should instal it would be very much appreciated. Thank you Joe

8 to 12 inches, not sure what the roots do, they may grow away from an area thats too hot
