The 2009 was from a 1725Harp seed polinated by the 1409.5Miller I think this is what you are asking.

What fruit did the specific 2009 plant produce that produced the pollen that pollinated the 1961 Sperry? Sorry if I was not clear.

That is a question for S. Sperry. I don't think he entered a pumpkin last year grown from a 2009 seed. So he may not have had a 2009 in his patch. Could be from anther grower near by. Good luck sounds like a great seed.

The 1961 Sperry fruit was grown from a 1775 Sperry seed.
It was pollinated from a plant grown from a 2009 Wallace seed.
The 1775 Sperry(2014) was grown from a 1813 Northrup seed pollinated by a 1676 Daletas.

Here's a list of the pumpkins grown off the 2009 Wallace.

Steve Sperry published the answer to your question in the December 2015 SNGPG newsletter. He ended up growing 2 x 1775 Sperry plants and 1 x 2009 plant in his patch (after a failure of a 2002 Hawkley). His 2009 was the pollinator for both 1775 plants. The 2009 developed fusarium and was done in early August.
