Subject: Spring cover crop timing?

If mycorrhizae takes two months to colonize the roots of my Spring cover crop, is there any benefit to keeping it long after that. I understand some growers like to till it in as thier pumpkin plant grows, I just don't know how much if any better that is once the roots are colonized.

The longer you can let it develop the more spore formation youll potentially get. Lots of free mycho spores is a good thing:)
