Since there is snow on the ground again I was wondering if there is anyone else out there in the pumpkin growing community that goes as crazy as I do on their Halloween and Christmas light displays. I have only been doing this for a few years with my lights controlled by a computer and this year I had 48 channels controlling over 20,000 lights. Here are a few links to my videos. excellent..i would think that it would be difficult to program the lights to the music. For some reason the halloween music came thru stronger on my computer sound system. Maybe i just like halloween better.

I dont put up chistmas lights..but I have gone crazy over indoor grow lights...

i am only up to 1300 led bulbs, 1 cob bulb, 1 metal halide/hps, and 1 hps, total 1303

i cant imagine trying to control 20,000 bulbs

I have even Incorporated Christmas lights into my grow chamber. I use 1 set of lights wrapped around some PVC and use it as light and heat. I have found it puts off the correct amount of both. Along with a heat pad on the bottom.

Thats very cool! I have always wanted to go nuts with the lights like this. Is it hard? How long do spend programming a song?

It takes around 4 hours for a simple song like jingle bells and up to 10+ for a more complex song like the star wars theme that my son wanted me to do. I also have a fm transmitter that plugs into my computer so the cars can tune into a station that I have selected and listen to the music and then there is no music outside which my neighbors appreciate.

Colorado pumpkin let me know if you want to do something like this I have over 40 songs that I have done and would be more than willing to share. I run a light-o- Rama controllers and software.
