Everywhere there are growers

The registration deadline is fast approaching. If you want to be part of the fun and compete for the fun you will need to register before 15 April 2016. The rules and details are posted here on BP under 'Weigh-offs' and then 'Virtual Weigh-offs and Contest'. There is one small change tot he posted rules for this year. The contest is NOT limited to growers in the northern hemisphere. Yes, you may read that to mean we have southern hemisphere growers already registered.

Everywhere there are growers

While everyone is welcome to participate in the 150 square ft. contest it is important that you read the rules referenced in the post above. There are a few simple rules and requirements. These are to establish the prize structure and ensure fun (rule number 1) and fairness. Please read them so you may become officially registered to play.

BTW, the current record holder is Captain97 @ 814.5 pounds from the 2014 contest year. I highly recommend looking at his 2014 diary as an exemplary model for the contest diary documentation.

i looked at id=180. I think the "How and When to Enter" section is missing some info

Is their going to be a period of time from posting the list of the entrants...for everyone to verify that their name is on it?

bnot, yes I will post a list soon after 15 April. Because we are seeing a late rush of entries we will accept all those whos entry fees are received or post marked by that date so there could be some updates. There are currently 9 pending.
