i dont know how many of you remember a fine canadian gentleman from our giant pumpkin past named gus saunders?
gus was a key figure in canadian and american growing circles from around mid nineteen eighties to mid nineteen nineties.
what was gus most famous for? he published a giant veggie growers newspaper that to this day bar none, was the best source of reading materials ever published.
hell it was even printed on newspaper stock and folded and mailed like a regular newspaper.
here are my thoughts for giant veggie club executives and executives of the gpc to think about.im curious how you feel.

goal ---- one newsletter produced by a business group and delivered to all registered gpc club members for a fee.
who pays for the registered clubs members? --- the club from ---- their members dues.
goal ---- eliminated the need for clubs to undertake the cost and effort it takes to produce a newsletter of high quality.(some clubs could now have a newsletter and currently can not produce one.some will just want a better news source for their clubs)
each newsletter would include articles from all subscribing clubs.
i would not expect a group to product this quality newsletter as a volunteer operation.
an undertaking of this magnitude one would expect this to be a business agreement between paid producers and club subscriptions for their members.
i would also want a portion of the profits to go yearly to the gpc.

Speaking for the MAGPG we are on board with this. We are a small club with only a few members that actually assist with the newsletter production so this would be a huge help for us. Thanks pap.
