Is it worth it to invest in these. I hear it only attracts the males. Would love to hear your input.

Yes. I lost 2 plants in 2014 to SVB. Put traps up last year and lost zero. Traps worked well for me.

There are varying opinions on this. Yes, they do work, but by using a bait, are you also attracting more SVBs to the patch that otherwise would disperse elsewhere or come from a neighbors garden? I quit using them in 2011 and have been fine since I keep up with a systemic drench program.

They work great! my first year I caught 158.The population has dropped to under 100 a season.So the numbers are decreasing.I dont believe they draw more.If I did I would give them to my neighbor to use them.
