Alrighty, Paul Huffer did a great job with this for years and I don't want to step on any toes so I sent him a message to see if he re-opened the BigPumpkins group or if he is going to become involved. I tried to join the "old" group but it wouldn't let me.

While we are waiting for that to be ironed out, you can log into

to get registered if you haven't already. When we know that a group is up and running you can join in any time right up until tip off.

Ok, Paul wrote me back and he is going through a rough time and unable to participate. With your help and patience, we can get this going.

I created a new group simply named BigPumpkins

When you log in you can search and join the group. You can submit 2 brackets from now until the tournament starts, after that you are locked out.

I ask for input from everyone if something is missing or unclear. This is a lot of fun so let's do it right.

Sweet- Here is the initial prize structure for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers. Most of these seeds I either bought or received from being a club member. The Ansems seeds came directly from Fred and Shirley. Steve threw in an extra 1676 when he contributed to our club auction a few years ago.

The winner gets to choose which package he/she wants followed by the 2nd place and then 3rd gets what is left over.

Everyone beware, the existing BigPumpkins.com group used last year is still there, and some people are still joining it (including me...). But that was last year. As I understand it, look for simply "BigPumpkins" (no .com) and join that group. "BigPumpkins" is the group for this year's contest.
