What is your favorite soil/mix that you use when starting your pumpkin seeds?

In the bottom half of the 5" peat pot I mix potting soil and Jiffy Mix, then add some worm castings, Pumpkin Pro and some Espoma Starter Plus or Jones Organics. The top half is pure Jiffy Mix. The Jiffy prevents damping off, and the rest really gets the plants off to a fast start.

I'm not sure how long it's been around Porkchop. I've tried Light Warrior for seed starting and used Ocean Forrest in the bottom of my tomato holes. Here is a link with the details on the Salamander. http://foxfarmfertilizer.com/index.php/item/salamander-soil-potting-mix.html

I've used coco coir with a diluted fert mix for many types of starter plants the last three years and I really like how easy it is to use. Can't over water it and it mixes in to other soil very easily.
