Want to Grow a Giant Pumpkin?

PRESS RELEASE

The Michigan Giant Pumpkin Growers will hold their annual Spring Growers Seminar on Saturday, March 19th, 2016, 10:30am-3pm. The meeting will take place at the UAW Hall at 111 W. Walker Rd. in St. Johns.

Among those in attendance will be special guest speaker Cecil Weston of Circleville, Ohio who grew a 1921 pound pumpkin weighed at Andy T’s last fall.

Anyone interested in learning how to grow a giant pumpkin is welcome. Admission is free and open to the public. Beginning to advanced growing techniques will be covered. Seeds will be available.

The Michigan Giant Pumpkin Growers is a non-profit organization dedicated to furthering the hobby of extreme gardening in Michigan.

Hey I just talked to Joe Platte and Jim Stage. We're all going to meet at Bob Evans in Dewitt at 8:30 Saturday morning the 19th for breakfast. So please we welcome all to join us for the Michigan seminar .if you think you would like to attend please contact one of us so that we can save enough tables .thank you very mulch!
