If you haven't caught Pete & Cindi Glasier's diary you should check it out, Their handle is "Tumbleweeds." So far it is an entertaining mix of Pete dragging Cindi to get a load of compost...then Cindi leaves Pete to unload it while she goes off to play tennis. Then there are the Napa Valley weather updates. And visits to other grower's patches. It all happens in a day of the life of a GPC Hall of Famer. I can't wait until they start installing live cameras in their house! Maybe Pete will start wearing a Go Pro 24/7! I really do enjoy theirndiary. I hope that when I'm 35 or so years older than I am now (I'm 50) that I will have the energy & desire to do half of what Pete does.

Thanks guys! I will try and keep the diary up to date. I will not be in competition with the Bubba diary! Lol! For the next week it looks like pics of the rain gage may be all there is to report. But we need the rain. Before long we will be adding bocce ball to our activities. Thank heaven for phone cameras! Makes it so easy!

Team beard, we used to have a big deck and a gazebo back there! Who needs a deck? Who needs a gazebo? We do not have any ground to spare on our little city lot.

Hank, those cookies are really good. I got the recipe from a tennis friend. Her kids got MAD at her for giving me the recipe. She said they acted like were planning on selling the recipe and making a living later in life! But I have the recipe now!

Yes we are REALLY getting rain now. It has been raining ALL day. I can't believe I have MORE entries in my diary than BUBBA! I won't be able to keep up with him once the season starts. Hopefully i will be able to post throughout the season . I would hate to show us starting seeds....and then next is the weigh offs!

Joan and Alan, filling out our passport aps is on the list during the rain. A cruise sounds good right about NOW! We need up to date passports for Niagara and/or cruising. Ya never know.........
