I live in Southern California (hot summers) but I want to enter the Giant Pumpkin Growing Contest this year. What is a good seed to grow out here in 100 degree weather. Giant meaning...as big as I can get it.

This is my second year growing. What about the "Make a Wish" seeds. where do I get those

There are growers from California I'm sure can help. I think it's not so much the seed, you will have to protect it from the heat.
