2000 was the first year I could get my hands on about a 1/4 of my parents garden to use for one plant. Got lucky with a good one splitting in the 800's half grown on the lawn. Didn't grow again until 2011.

We wasted a lot of great seeds my first year and didn't get squat! So I read the grower's bible and got on this site five years ago. I won the skunk cap at bear Wallow my first weigh off! I think it was 168lbs.! Taken home the skunk cap twice more since! Haven't stopped me yet!
