Here's one you won't hear, but don't forget about the birds. You'd be surprised how many types of birds you can bring in that are overwintering in your areas after a snow fall with feeders, or just spread some food over the snow. My current guests include Cardinals, Wrens, Bluebirds, Finches, Warblers, Chickadees, Titmouse, and even the mean old Bluejays.

So far, so good. About a foot of snow on the ground.Its really starting to put it down heavy now again and big gusts of wind keep blasting it into my doorway.I'm sure it will be blocking the door closed in the morning : ). At this rate now there will be a lot of snow in the morning...
