I can't find any place in this area to buy the nutrient's suggested by my soil test, in the (SMALL) amounts. I found BORON in 50# bags I need .4 per 1000sq ---NITROGEN by the TON.I need 3.3 per 1000sq. How and where are you getting your nutrients ?

Use Borax for boron. Grocery store for that. Soil amendment calculator has a list of products that can supply particular needs. Farm/garden and some hardware stores carry some of the specialty items for initial amending. Many micro nutrients are in 5 lb bags.

I order some stuff on Amazon.com. If it is over $35 usually you don't have to pay shipping. It is convenient and usually pretty fast. Put your nutrient in the Amazon search bar and usually it pops right up. Good luck.

I got my manganese, copper and zinc sulfate from Amazon. I get it in 1# to 5# bags. You just need to determine the percentage of the element and adjust accordingly. Borax for boron, and Epsom salt for magnesium and sulfur from Walmart. For a slower release nitrogen I get chicken manure pellets from a local farm supplier, Midwestern Bio-Ag. I also get 0-0-50 sulfate of potash. You might be able to find a farm supplier to get some items. I also use a little 10-10-10 for an early shot of fast acting nitrogen in the spring. You just have to watch the salt levels in your soil if you use that.

I always try my local farm and feed shops first and we have one hydroponic shop called Worms Way I use. I believe you can check them out online. I also use the Kelp4Less website which has quite a bit. Don't forget about Hollands either.

I can usually find what I need on e-bay for $1 to $2 cheaper than Amazon with free shipping,Kelp4less sometimes has good deals and weekly sales but research the price sometimes their super sale price is still a bad deal.
I forget what common fert they sell, but its priced about 5 times higher than any other site Ive seen
