Yes this is my pick for 2015 seed of the year! It just makes good sense. It was a very big Pumpkin that went 7% heavy. It was also harvested very early like the 19th of September. So crossing a huge Pumpkin with a Heavy Kin 14% heavy.Should produce a BIG KIN.It was also a lite almost orange color. So it could throw a Big Orange kin with the 1495 Genetics in it. Great SEED! Will grow big is my prediction. The 1625 should help keep it more uniform shape as well.

Does anybody know why Gene chose to harvest such a big fruit early? Usually record contender pumpkin stay in the patch as late as possibile.

I work shift work and I get 1 weekend off in a month , most of my days off fall during the week , I have chosen to go to the september cedarburg weigh off cause it falls on my long weekend, if I wait for the october weekend I would have to travel long long way, so come september it is what it is when it hits the scale
