We pay to be part of clubs to help support the cause.We buy seeds at auctions to support a club.We dont pay for information that we can google & find for free.Memberships are a great way of supporting a group/club etc.There are perks that come with being part of a group.Free products.raffles for lifting rings? shirts etc. Some clubs have picnics/seminars etc.I belong to several clubs I like what there doing & some of the contests & promotions.Membership exclusive activities pages & such.Why should non supporters get the same perks?This is not a bad thing.Just the way it should be.Support a Club/Group/Membership.Best way to say you like whats happening.

Support the Sport!! Lobby the Hobby!!!LOL

I am not rich by any means and actually lost my job this past sept. but I will be joining WWGG , PGPGA , OVGPG and possibly more cant have nice weigh offs and prizes and fun with friends with out it :) I have met some of the nicest people I have ever met just through this hobby!

One can also volunteer to help a club as well. Write a newsletter article, be the secretary, volunteer to be VP, help run an auction... and volunteer for Weigh off help as well.... There's more to growing than just showing up on weigh off day to collect your placings.....
