We have been numb since yesterday when we received the news. Kenny was a great guy, you could always count on him at the weigh - off to help from morning till days end. He will be missed by all his fellow "brothers" in the Southern New England Giant Pumpkin Growers Club. Rest in Peace kenny.

Kenny is with me almost every day. While I know we have never personally interacted with one another he has been close to me throughout my pumpkin growing career. He has given me hope and a goal. I placed the following in 2012, my first year growing, on my I-pad so every time I access the BP board this is what I see.

kenny and i used to communicate often regarding his gardening growth also, because we were both former marines we felt a brother hood of sorts.
kenny was always there to lend a hand-always.

im very upset that a decent young man like kenny had to meet such a terrible end. ill never forget him thats for sure.
