Interesting, the children took the carved giant in my yard at face value the parents didn't believe it was real.

"That doesn't weight 1162"
"man that cant be real"
"where did you get a plastic pumpkin that big"
"where did you buy that"
"you didn't grow that"
"how did you get that home from the store"

The best of all had nothing to do with the pumpkin, I gave a little girl maybe 8-10 a twizzler, she turned to her parents and said "I hate twizzlers" and stormed off the parents laughed and said to me "kids these days". I refrained from saying that's your fault not the kids.

Now to go Christmas shopping

I have my two pumpkins outside the front of my house carved. People think they are not real and where did you buy them. Funny how some people think they are not real, but don't touch or look at the lit candle inside. Hello, plastic would melt!

Halloween is a little different in my new neighborhood. Each house passes out candy for the kids and has a beer/wine/cocktail for each adult. The parents didn't have any trouble believing about giant pumpkins :-)
