So I know of 30 damaged pumpkins that would have been contenders
But I only know of 1 damaged grower that was a contender that had a damaged pumpkin

Colorado

I second that on- Glad Chris is on the mend.Colorado has its own purple heart grower.About 5 years ago Doug Minix lost the end of his thumb with a trailer/ hitch accident.
