I have a special lifting ring hanging in my garage that will go to the first grower that weighs a sound pumpkin at a sanctioned weigh off that is 2,500 lbs or better. My 2.5K ring is 47" in diameter.

anything is possible however to get one out of little rhody? (there are a couple biggins that i know of) either would need to go umongus amts over any chart you use.i do however think frericks weigh-off will be respectful on their top ten average this year.
several newer members and a couple of veterans have made a break out from this great weather we had in aug and sept.
my best to everyone in pumpkin land this weekend

I know people said this at 1000lbs and before 2000 lbs .. but can we really expect a pumpkin that size to hold up structurally .. there has to be a ceiling somewhere ..probably around 24 or 25 hundred lbs ..who knows

Tanner I will say great question. As growers we all want to know what we got in our gardens and as fans of the hobby we all want to know what the rest of the world grew.I'm not going to speculate on what the biggest will weigh but I love this time of year. Also good luck at the scales everybody hope theres a WR out there.
