Gary Vincent won Topsfield with his pumpkin weighing in at 1992.50 pounds. Woody Lancaster came in a very close second with his pumpkin weighing 1954 pounds. A fantastic weigh off with a very exciting finish!!! Congrats to all the folks who brought their entries to our weigh off to support the NEGPGA, that is what makes our weigh-off so special. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. George and Mary Ann

It was an enjoyable time surrounded by pumpkins and growers. I want to thank all of those that had a part in making this possible.

It was a blast. The anticipation of seeing the scale reach those numbers is awesome. Even skipping 1700's and 1800's. 2 1900 pound pumpkins So much fun. Congratulations Gary and Woody.

It wasn't too awful long ago when there would not have even been a single Connecticut pumpkin in the top ten! Great job, to all the growers who brought an entry from every New England state.
Also a big Thank you to everyone in the state who has helped to promote and educate Connecticut growers. (Team pumpkin and the SNGPG our first to come to my mind.)
