upon entering my patch today to place plastic down to keep an area dry for lifting friday, i noticed my largest ever had a rotten hole in the bottom. craps, guess i'm not the only one! she was taping 2010 and pounded like a tree.the cross was 1744.5 fulk by 1623 wallace. time to get the hunting cloths out. now its miller time...

Paul, it was not you that cased the problem. Almost all of us growers go thru this at some time, it is what seems to hold us together as a group and to admire those who seceded.
Yes we mope around for a few days before we say it was only a pumpkin and yes yours was a huge one to lose. Enjoy your beer for what you did accomplish.
