If I remember correctly a 1068 wallace was auctioned off last winter but I forget who bought it & I'm wondering if they got it to germinate? It'd be awesome if it was crossed back into today's seeds.

that would be me The seed ended up in the NAPA valley and was grown and haven't had an update lately. Gave it to that grower who kinda is pretty good and I think he grew 35 plants this year. He makes pretty darn good wine too.

1068 papez is 1068 wallace x sibb. Same cross as the 1450 wallace.
It grew a few 1000 lbers in 2008. I think the heaviest was 1130 lbs.
