A big congrats to Gerard Ansems on setting a new record at the Hants County Exhibition on its 250th anniversary(North America's Oldest Agricultural Fair) at 1,295 lbs. and to Andrew Ansems also on breaking it moments before at 1,236 lbs.I barely remember when Dad entered his first big giant here in 1976 at 334 lbs.We've come along way everyone...our hats are off to ya!

I wonder what Gerard has left for Glad gardens ( AVGVG weigh off) and Windsor. FYI- The Hants County Exhibition is host to a wide variety of exhibits from 4H to best flower arrangement. Pumpkins are not center stage by any stretch. A 1295 Winner at this exhibition suggests better things to come, at least I hope so.
