Thanks guys! Doug, Spence yep it's self pollinated. The original plan was to use the 1817 McConkey for the pollinator hoping to hit the big orange lottery but I lost that plant early on so it was the logical choice.
I love telling people that this particular seed took a road trip all the way to Sue Barber's house and back. Lucky for me she decided to grow only watermelons and returned it! I named the pumpkin Sue.
