Which one is hottest now? There's always new ones being developed so I have no idea anymore. Is it still the carolina reaper?

This variety is not available yet, but it has potential as a weapon against Islamic terrorists.

Ate one of the million plus peppers the other night. There was about 15 minutes of pure pain and nothing but time could take it away. Next time I am out in the garden and start to wonder, I am going to keep wondering!

Last year I ate a tiny piece of a peach bhut jolokia and had stomach pains for 3 days. I have no idea how people eat the hotter ones, it must feel like pure death when it comes out the other end.

Any milk product will help that is a fact. But if you eat a reaper pepper you'll need a gallon of whole milk and then some.

I have reapers in the garden as well as brain strain yellow peppers. Some reports are that the brain strain is by far the most painful despite a lower scoville rating. Once they are ripe I'll let ya know. IF I SURVIVE!

milk ( did not have much on hand ) helped for a couple of seconds until you swallow ,sugar no better, was out of ice cream.
don't forget that when you pick a pepper you do not know if it is above or below the scale which is done by averaging.
sometimes there is an afterburn!

hot water or as hot as you can drink without pain
