Barnesville Ohio Pumpkin Festival Weigh-Off raises prize money to pay $2.00 per pound!!!

In an effort to give back to the giant pumpkin growing community for their time and money spent in the pumpkin patch, the Barnesville Ohio Pumpkin Festival Weigh-Off (GPC member) will now pay $2.00 per pound for the 2015 “King Pumpkin” (1st place prize).

The 2015 weigh-off will be held in Barnesville, Ohio on September 23, 2015 between 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. EST.

So, if you want to take this year’s BIG CASH $$$ Prize, start planning for our weigh-off event now.

Hey Bubba! I hope all is well in Holly. Yeah, you guys are all certainly welcome and invited to attend our weigh-off. We are getting pumped up for our event and love people and pumpkins! So, come on down...

Yes, we pay for squash. Both pumpkins and squash are entered into the same category and qualify for all of our prize money. As an added on bonus for squash this year, we have a very nice GPC trophy plaque waiting for the grower of the "Heaviest Squash".

Well the first thing you know ol' Bubba's a millionaire,

So they loaded their pumpkin up in their truck and took it to Barnesville-ly
