I see the ring still on with the block chive hanging off it, so we know it was cinched up good..Looks like cable either come of the drum or it snapped,,tough luck!..almost brought a tear to my eye,,can't imagine, so sorry Dale.

thanks folks for all the support it was a crazy day .. the tough part was everything was fine ..then over .. in a blink of a eye .. took a second to believe it.. here's a link from the local news.. as the cable some how snapped ? It sounds like the pumpkin was inspected before it dropped. Unless it was total pumpkin pie you should still have gotten an official weight on that.
