We were punished the last few days for such a awesome summer here in the PNW. The wind/rain tore up my patch. Most of the leaves are destroyed as are some of the vines. Any chance of coaxing it along for another month? Or should I just compost and plan for next year. It is at around 300 lbs and I was hoping for a personal best of around 600. I know not that impressive comparatively but personally I was getting pretty excited. Just posted a pic on my diary page but probably won't be up until tomorrow. And trust me, not much to look at.

These plants are very resilient. Take some bamboo sticks or something and something like Velcro or a twist tie or a zip tie and prop up the leaves that have broken stalks. It there are still some laying on the ground after the sun comes out good, you can do the same for them.
In a few days it will look much better.

Agreed with all the above. The stalks don't look snapped for the most part. I like a bamboo stake and zip tie wrapped around the upper portion of stalk. Leaves will be good rest of season. I've had worse and they rebounded well. Now hail is a different story.

Look at my diary early on and plants were beat up by wind, rain and hail. You would never know it now. They recover quickly. Just let a few tertiary vines grow to replace lost vines and leaves.
