2 days ago we were at 92 degree F right now it is 37 degrees F and snowing. Crazy crazy Severe frost warning for tonight think I'll stoke up the fire

My grandma always tells me it's impossible to grow anything in Alberta without a greenhouse. I think she's right.

We had been in the 90's too, then on Wednesday it only got up to 61. My the next morning it was down to 50. I guess we were lucky.
when we get those quick real cold spells here in the winter, coming out of Canada, they are called Alberta Clippers. I admire the way you can grow pumpkins in those conditions.

We have our first "killed everything frost" between the 7 and 15 of Sept. However, we usually have the leaves being nipped a bit for a week before that. Eddy is down south in the tropics where he could make it another week. Lol. Usually gets hot for a month with no hint of frost after everything outside is dead.

92 degreeZ today here Ice....Gaining inches every day....looks to be at least two more weeks of the good stuff....itZ about time we had some good weather...

Toronto weather is cool but no where near freezing. Nevertheless the pumpkins are being blanketed at night and I'll be pulling out the remay if this keeps up.
