Every once in a while as giant pumpkin growers we have the opportunity to meet fantastic people. Abouut 15 years ago we were at the Orting Weighoff here in Washington when a young boy frought his first giant pumpkin that he grew. By today's standards it wan't that big, but his smile and pride was. Joel and I have been friends of Daniel and his folks ever since, and Daniel has continued to grow big pumpkins. He is fighting for his life today, as he is the one survivor of the Twisp Washington fire that took the life of three of his co-workers. Please hold him and his family up in prayer.
