I have one fruit that just set on the main vine. A couple feet down the main vine is another fruit that just pollinated. Should I remove the newly polinated fruit or wait and see its growth rate before going all in on the first fruit that set?

Time is running out keep the first one. Don't cut the second one off but def keep the one you have.

at this late in the year i would just keep everything. just to have something for Halloween
