Earlier this week I thought for sure I was going to lose my pumpkin, as it had developed light brown spots on the top and stem. In fact some thought it was toast but I'm sure glad I treated it instead of terminating. I sprinkled some sulphur on it but later sprayed it with Quintec. Overnight the spots cleared up and the pumpkin is growing at a nice rate. I think one needs an arsenal of sprays to be successful. This is my first year without powdery or downy mildew. Love my backpack blower.

I agree, I good Mist Blower in the hobby is a must... well worth the investment. I gassed my patch last night... 9 plants is a lot to take care of and spray.. Each patch is 750 Sq ft at least... Just cant to with a pump sprayer... Ask Biz.. he just bought himself a mini Stihl...lol Works great and is smaller that the 440.... Strike First, Strike Hard, No Mercy Sir!

I bought a leaf blower and back sprayer sprayer this year. I can mix my chemicals ,spray 3 plants and be done in 20 minutes, its awesome.

Bubba, you spray all those plants with the manual sprayer? I have a stihl 5 gallon backpack manual pump sprayer and thought I was the only one on here without a blower.
