I have a fruit growing that has a cauliflower skin to it the bumps on it are a couple inches high does this happen often or is it something im doing? And yes i have tried to open a diary and show a picture but i dont have a computer just my phone

IS it an Atlantic Giant. There is a Pumpkin called a Peanut Pumpkin that has skin like you describe

I found out first hand this year that mosaic virus can get you bumpy pumpkins. Is there any green specks or dots mixed in near the bumps?

The leaves look heathy except for a few of the older ones that are weathered and the fruit is growing well about est 18lbs a day, i should have a picture posted soon my daughter is going to help me with the app when see gets back from vacation

This is from my 2008 Diary. I didn't have it tested, but I'm guessing it might have been caused by mosaic virus, as some of the leaves on this plant were two-toned colored(different shades of green).

Hey Doug14, no it doesnt look as bad as that the bumps are bigger and not as many,i have another fruit growing on the same plant and it has smooth skin thats what is puzzling to me
