I was contacted by a friendly grower and was directed to this thread about Dicks Tips #2
http://www.bigpumpkins.com/msgboard/ViewThread.asp?b=14&p=462293
Since that is an older thread I figured it probably isn't still available. However, it got me wondering about getting a good book to help prime me for next year. (This year is a wash for me -- but planning for next year!)
I see some available but I'm not sure what would be an excellent resource.

I would say one of the better books is this one:
http://www.amazon.com/Grow-World-Class-Pumpkins-All-Organic/dp/0975515373
However, I would say that I really enjoyed this video. Ron covers everything he did when he grew the World Record giant 2009 pumpkin:

Dick's Tips is a necessary read for all growers.

Thanks for the recommendations. I put the organic book in my Amazon wish list, and will be ordering Dick's Tips right away. :)
