It will be days before I stop laughing.
I worry about bugs, disease, heat & cold, but I would never have considered this to be a threat.
That guy is obviously not a pumpkin grower. If he was, he would have known that you can't pollinate a pumpkin again once it starts growing.
I have to give him credit for a quick response though.

I hope he was wearing protection. I get a rash on my hands if I don't wear rubber gloves while cleaning out my pumpkins.
