I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that posts their diaries and information on this site. I unfortunately do not get to start until next year, which is probably a good thing will all the information that I have learned from all of you since deciding I wanted to give this a try. Who knew about vine burying, mycrobs, fish/seaweed, tertiary vines, vine borers, s-curves, DAP, main vine length, merit, wind protection etc etc....
A special thanks to MNFisher to letting me come out and check out his patch and answer all my FNG questions on preparing my patch for next year. Very cool to see it in real life vs the pictures.
Just wanted to say thanks to all of you from someone who really doesn't post on the site yet but checks on it daily. Good luck everyone and thanks again. Counting down the days until next year...

Otsego - you're in ham lake - looks like we are almost neighbors as far as the pumpkin world is concerned - preparing the soil this year and building a fence for wind and kid protection - once again thanks everyone
