Our 2036 set out a main ribbon vine with about 6 growing points. I eventually cut it off at about 10'. All of our plants were slow growing due to cold wet May and June. I have 2 pumpkins going on secondary vines and will go with that. Nice shape and white. I allowed 700 square feet for the plant and am allowing a couple tertiary vines grow to fill out an empty area where the secondary vines didn't grow. It will be all filled out and terminated in 8-10 days.

I have one going and it is a great plant. It is probably the only plant I have going that never got sunburn. It was a very slow growing plant from the start, actually the slowest in the patch. However, the plant is totally terminated and I have a nice one set at Day 27 now doing high 30's a day. No complaints at all, glad I planted it.

Jason booth has a nice one going on the 2036. It has one side vine which has the craziest ribbon vine I've ever seen. But it is growing a nice pumpkin!

My 2036 plant was real slow early and finally took off and is a impressive plant, It has a 26 do fruit which is behind and hopefully kicks in like the plant.

Ribbon. Let two set on secondary vines. Seemed hard to pollinate.

Yep, Russ is right, the 3rd secondary is 8" wide, it has 8 tendrils per leaf, and 4 leaves per junction. The whole plant has double tendrils, some of them turned into leaves or vines, and lots of kick stand leaves. My 1985 has Bruce Jenner flowers too. Had no problem setting fruit on either one though.

The fruit has been a little slow, but it is steady. I'm very happy I planted this seed. I sure wish I was able to keep my cat from scratching on the fruit when I'm out of town. I hope it weighs heavy!!!
