I noticed this morning that the top of my pumpkin has some tiny amber droplets that look like they sweated out of the pumpkin over night. They look like hard candy and come off on touch. I'm wondering if others have seen this and if it is pressure from the growth pushing through the skin. At least it isn't a crack.

We call it "sapping". Completely normal. Some do it, others don't. I don't know the reason for it.

Let a mosquito bite you and then stick it in the sap. In 50 years they'll be able to clone you.
