I have to water my plants everyday by hand (could not get drip tape this year). So I leave a row of 5 gallon buckets out everyday in the sun for a few hours (city water) with a tiny amount of soluble humic acids so the chlorine can evaporate. The problem is that it has gotten very hard for me to get around and water the plant this way, but I can do it if I suffer some leg cramps by trying to stand in weird positions on the boards and carry buckets and trying not to fall over.

Here is the question: I am going to be gone for four days and I really need my plants watered. The only person to do this is my mom and this will be impossible for her. If I were to allow her to spray overhead with straight city water, will this cause damage to the soil bacteria and Mycorrhizae? I am thinking I may just let her do it this way and drench with a bunch of compost tea and Mark's Root Keeper (Mycorrhizae, Trichoderma, and Bacillus) when I get back. Its all I can come up with, will it affect growth at all? It will only be four days.

this won't get it all, but for 4 days it might make you feel better, for the money its worth a try.
