Everywhere there are growers

John Colburn was a fine gentleman and avid pumpkin grower for many years. While he may not be a household name to many in the giant pumpkin growing community he is well known to all at Team-Pumpkin. John was always in attendance with an entry at Team-Pumpkin weigh offs, seminars and events eager to learn something new to improve his personal best, which he did. Like many others John liked the orange ones and was a frequent contender or winner of the Howard Dill Award. Team-Pumpkin will miss his enthusiasm and persistence. Rest in Peace John.
