I have 900 foot of plant. Would it be best to now bury the main vine or let it continue to grow, and trim the secondaries. Thanks for any help.

900 square feet is a large enough plant to grow a giant.I like to let the main grow if space permits.Terminate most of the secondaries. Do it over a weeks time at cause you can have the stump foam if you terminate all at once. I assume you have a pumpkin set. A well pruned plant has more nutrients available to the pumpkin than a plant that is allowed to grow unchecked.
