How are your 1969 Haist plants doing? Some have had issues with poorly developed males, no pollen, few normal males (possibly sterile plant) others seem fine.
Mine grew great but had poor males, only a few were normal had a pollination (6-21) it aborted and now the 2nd set on the main 6-26 does not look good.

Great plant here....just likes to grow. It reminds me of its mom the 1756 Lancaster I grew last year. I have plenty of both males and females but every female is very small on this plant.????? I have 3 kins set including a 17day. Despite the wet conditions I have been ending vines and ended the main yesterday to hopefully get the plant & kin to hook up.

Pulled mine today, all the females aborted and with no pollen in the males Id say its sterile. So now I can obsessively hover over 1 plant instead of 2.

I'm with Jeffp. Mine has underdeveloped males with no pollen. First aborted and assuming it's sterile. I had high hopes based on the cross. I have its mom the 1756 Lancaster growing right next to it though.

My males have never developed and so far every female has aborted. 2 more set on the plant if they don't take she's coming out!

Same problems as tree doc and Jeffp. Will wait out next 2 sets then plant will most likely be pulled. Empty males, football shaped pumpkins that abort at about football size.Too bad as it is a big healthy plant..

Mine is hooked up now for the last week. I could see her freshen up around day 18 and is now in the running. I'm going to measure today day 24 and I'll post later. Day 20's ho hum numbers won't matter in the end If shes growing like I think right now.69,46,46,161.

Day 24: 93,61,61,215ott so I'm very happy with a 33lb avg for the last 4 days. I'm so glad that for this time; what you see is the results you get.... Best of Luck to everyone
