I am going to try mixing all of these to spray between 8 and 9 PM tonight after work , no rain in the forecast for 36 hours (whoo hoo) and was wondering if all of this is good to use together. I will try making a gallon to see if it gels up or not.
cleary (generic) neem, seaweed, fulvic, molasses, epsom salts.
I think this is fine ,but let me know please, also if you foliar spray a combination like the above, and a week later spray just the epsom salts, will the plant absorb more epsoms the second time than the first.Cant the plant only absorb a set amount at one time, say it absorbs 2% of the epsom when sprayed as a single ingredient, but if you add something else to the spray will it then absorb 1% of the epsom.
I figure since I havent heard talk of this it isnt true

I agree with Shannon, neem is pretty "hot" and I don't like using it with anything else.
Be very stingy with the fulvic, it doesn't take very much to cause a burn when applied foliarly.
I'm assuming your MG is low on your soil test is why you are spraying Epsom salts? In my opinion the plant will get more of it from a drench than a spray, so if you need it, I would consider drenching it.

Ok thanks Shannon- Cecil- I will skip the neem, I was only using it because I heard it was a good spreader, my plants show a MG deficiency several times a year is why I thought of light foliar feeds every other week might be OK but I can drench it what rate would you use for 1000sg ft.
I did make a gallon of the mixture and it didnt clump up, but the morning inspection I found cuke beetles so I added Bifen to the TEST mixture seems good so far.
Does the addition of bifen change anything ?

I've found that with our high potassium and calcium numbers in giant pumpkin growing that it can tie up magnesium and other micro Nutrients as they compete with each other in the soil...I add a bit of Epsom salts to my water tank occasionally and also in the foliar tank from time to time.

Baitman I do use neem as a foliar mix with other stuff, on occasion, and I think of it as a "spreader/sticker". I haven't seen or read any evidence that it is a bad thing. But yeah, go easy on it, I have seen it brown the leaves a bit. The Mg, from what i read, is more readily absorbed by the leaves then from a drench if you think there is a urgent need for some Mg. We've been spraying it on roses and tomatoes for years. Seems to green them up and make growth a little stronger, And what Glenn said. There seems to be a complicated relationship between pH and calcium and Mg.

interesting, what is the amount per gallon you use as a spreader sticker?

LB posted about using 1 oz per gal of neem, but molasses is also a sticker.

Thanks for the link baitman. I have had neem burn my plants before, so I think I will pass on using it as a sticker, but good info to know.
