Sharp bends are asking for it. Some vines will let you put a extreme bend others not so much.I do a pre fruit bend around 2/3 feet and later a post fruit bend about 4 feet so vine will clear the downstream shoulder. If your growing two thousand pounders add 2 feet to my numbers.

I wish I would have read this befor I bent mine. It did not break but it is sharp. I got lucky. Thanks for your input guys.
