They dont have the best prices on everything.Home depot crown molding over 1.70 a foot.My local lumber yard,.77 cents a foot.1 1/2 P trap 3.80 Local lumber yard 1.80.

Dont be duped & support your local Mom & POP shops

The Big Box stores are killing small town America

You will get better service at most Mom & Pop shops.

The Big Box stores should have a sign in the window

I'd gladly pay more at a locally owned business. But I'm a little biased as I own what some would consider a small business.

Amen brother Bubba! In the industry I work in (pharmaceutical) the national chains have the HIGHEST prices, while your local independent pharmacy will have the best retail prices. Support your local Mom & Pop drug store!

At Home Depot you have to pick through half the stack just to find a straight two by four. At my local lumber yard the wood is so much better.

Yes and drywall screws are 1.90 a lb at the mom & pop shop.Home Depot $4 .Its all smoke & mirrors

At Menards, I have had to go thru a stack of lumber just for very few straight ones. Some of them should be used as firewood due to how warped they are. What's up with that?!

Its called they have no place to put the bad lumber,so its sets in the same pile.They eventually will carry it off & reduce sale it.If your smart & can use the bent ones for doing short cuts.Go to the service counter tell them you will buy the bad ones for half price.They will do it to get rid of them.I usually take a bad one or 2 at my local lumber yard & use them for short cuts.I do this to help them out.The big box store nobody cares its a free for all dork fest.Shop MOM & POP!! The billionaires are eating us for lunch.We will be making bricks without straw soon.Just like the Egyptian slaves.SEE How do like that Moses SEE Edward G Robinson.SEEEEEE!!!
